French Grammar Power Hour - Intermediate Level

"I absolutely love your Power Hour courses! I appreciate your focus on deep understanding of grammar (to me that's fun!), the thoroughness of your explanations, the repetition/practice but with variations, and focus on pronunciation. I think another important thing that sets you and the course apart is your uncanny ability to devine my questions and address them, just as I'm wondering, "But what about...." You often say, "I know what you're thinking/asking/wondering" -- and it's true! And the example sentences you craft are so good at revealing things I didn't even know I didn't really know! I really looked forward to doing this Power Hour each day. And it was great practice (and quite a mental workout) to think on my feet when I paused the video and tried to say the answer or the translation before seeing your explanation."

"This was an excellent well thought out course on a very common yet important way to convey something as simple and quotidian as necessity. We express this idea all day long often without thinking about it. What made this class so effective was the repetition. Often the student gets two or three examples of how to properly use something but the memory of these brief examples is quite perishable. Having a wide assortment of examples (50) plus individual explanations for many of them is just invaluable. I certainly appreciate all the extra time and effort you put into this and it is why I will keep coming back for more classes because there are two types of instruction that are so lacking in on-line foreign language (and in many classrooms today I might add, especially the teaching method used at Alliance Francaise) and they are french grammar and modern french pronunciation/phonetics. Both are covered but only piecemeal and in small bites."
