Level A2- French Story in the Passé Composé with Audio

La Journée de Vanessa - Routine Quotidienne

Level A2 - French Story in the Passé Composé - La Journée de Vanessa

The focus of this lesson is hearing about Vanessa's daily routine in the passé composé. You will practice and strengthen your reading, writing, and listening skills. Many different kinds of verbs are used including regular verbs, irregular verbs, and reflexive verbs. Some verbs are used with various forms of negation.

Included:
➯ STEP 1: Listen to the audio version about a typical day in the life of Vanessa. See how much you can understand without reading along. It's only a little more than two minutes long, so you can listen to it a few times if necessary.
➯ STEP 2: Listen and read along at the same time with your French only version of the text.
➯ STEP 3: Read your French and English version of the text and take note of how sentence structure changes when comparing these two languages. Take note of any new vocabulary or expressions.

➯ STEP 4: Gap fill exercise #1 - Fill in the blanks with verbs as you listen once again to the audio recording. Check your work with the French only version of the text.

➯ STEP 5: Gap fill exercise #2 - Improve your listening skills and comprehension of syntax while increasing your vocabulary. This time, rather than filling in the blanks with verbs, you will listen closely to all of the other words and write what's missing in the exercise. Check your work with the French only version of the text.
