50 really difficult words to pronounce in French

This is a complete lesson to help you out with difficult French pronunciation. You know how some French words just seem impossible?? You may find some of those on this list, and I'm sure some of them will be new to you!

The first step is to watch our 13 minute video tutorial carefully and take notes, maybe even making your own pronunciation rules. I've included a 1 page study guide so that you will have all of the examples used in the video written down for you both in French and in English as well as 3 hints to help you out in your pronunciation.

Next, you'll be able to listen to and download François' 7 minute audio recording of the same 50 words. This will allow you to listen, repeat, and practice over and over again from anywhere! He will say each French word slowly two times, and then follow up with the English translation.

This lesson is included in my $ saving BUNDLED FRENCH LESSONS.

Bonjour! I'm Jennifer, and I’m an American French teacher living in the South of France. My native language is English, and I speak French fluently. I love to travel, and have led guided tours in 15 countries in Western Europe with my former students from the United States. I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French, then taught French for a year and moved to France for a year before pursuing and earning a Master of Arts degree in French. I taught French at Saint Louis University High School, a Jesuit college preparatory school for young men, for 14 years. In the summer of 2013 I relocated to France with my family, and spent the summer working as Dean of l’Académie de France in Montpellier, a French immersion program for teenagers from around the world. A while before relocating to France, I began teaching French online via Skype. I am now teaching French online full time and I also give immersion classes and guided city visits in both languages in Béziers, France.

It’s my job to guide you and help you along on your journey to learn French. Learning should be fun, and I will make sure that enjoy yourself as you improve your listening, writing, reading, and most importantly your speaking skills. Over the years I have developed many creative strategies to guarantee your progress. All students have different learning styles, different strengths and weaknesses, and different levels. One of my first jobs as your teacher is to provide you with an approach that will suit your learning style so that you will get the most out of your classes as possible.
