Mastering French pronouns activities..... Get ready to start using these pronouns when you speak!
À vos marques, prêts, partez!
There are many ways you can use these activities to encourage and increase fluency in using French pronouns. There is a lot of repetition, and this will help you know WHEN to use the different types of pronouns. Have a look at the promo video to see how this activity can help you.
You may choose to write your answers if you want to work on that skill. There's a space on each worksheet for you to do that. However, if you really have a hard time SPEAKING French using pronouns, you will want to speak your answers and check them later.
The idea is to turn on a timer, and as you read each sentence you should replace the underlined words with the pronouns indicated. If you get stuck on one, just move on to the next! You’ll do better next time! When you’ve finished, turn off the timer and record your speed as well as how many you answered correctly and incorrectly.
WANT TO REALLY CHALLENGE YOURSELF?
Set a timer to two minutes, three minutes… whatever your personal goal is. Start saying the sentences replacing the underlined words with pronouns. When the timer goes off, STOP! Record the number of sentences you were able to complete. Once you’re able to attain your goal, up the challenge by lowering the time!
