Are you a beginner? Intermediate? Advanced? Get ready to take your French up a notch with this essential French verb!
French Verb: FAIRE - 32 EXPRESSIONS
In this French lesson meant for beginners, intermediates, and advanced learners, you will learn 32 different ways to use the same verb on 3 different levels of difficulty! Like many French verbs, faire can have lots of different meanings. This is a very common verb, so you can look forward to truly expanding your knowledge so that you will feel more confident when speaking French!
For each of the 32 I'll teach you to use the verb faire, I'll show examples that will help you as you begin to learn about this verb, and then I'll bring you up to the intermediate and advanced levels as well. Talk about tripling your knowledge! This is a course you'll be able to come back to time and again as your French improves and your level increases.
To help you practice and master your new skill, I'm including a lesson guide with all of the examples from the lesson and four worksheets that will help drill in the new information and improve your understanding of French sentence structure. These worksheets will help as you carefully place the words in the correct order.
You'll also get two sets of practice cards that will help you feel even more comfortable while using these expressions. One set is for beginners, and the other is for intermediate to advanced learners.
Step 1: Print out your 6 page lesson guide. Have it handy for taking notes during the video lesson (take special note of verb tenses used at 3 different levels).
Step 2: Watch the video lesson, and carefully examine 32 different ways to use the verb FAIRE. In this lesson, I'll also show you clever ways to use these expressions whether you're a beginner, and intermediate learner, or at the advanced level.
Step 3: Practice and master your new French skills! Your first worksheet breaks down the expressions into sections and you fill in the blanks. Next, you can practice French sentence structure and new vocabulary by putting scrambled sentences back in the correct order. You'll get three of these worksheets in the next section. The scrambled sentences come directly from the lesson, and they are arranged according to level. Answer keys are included.
Step 4: Practice cards! Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate to advanced learner, I have a set for you! Each card presents a new challenge and encourages you to make sentences using the expressions. All of the images on the cards are the same as in the video and on your study guide, so there should be no confusion as to which expression you will be prompted to use. Answer keys are included.

I'm Jennifer, and I'm a French teacher. I didn't grow up speaking French. I started learning French as an adult, so I know exactly how frustrating it can be when just trying to listen and respond seems impossible. I was fortunate enough to have CARING teachers who helped me and never seemed to be frustrated with me. When I started teaching French 20+ years ago, I was again fortunate to have mentors who showed me that CARING about my students and understanding their difficulties is the only way to help. I've been exactly where you are, and I know how to help you.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French, then taught French for a year and moved to France for a year before pursuing and earning a Master of Arts degree in French. I taught French at Saint Louis University High School, a Jesuit college preparatory school for young men, for 14 years. A while before relocating to the South of France, I began teaching French online via Skype. I am now teaching French online full time and I also give immersion classes and guided city visits in both languages in Béziers, France.
It’s my job to guide you and help you along on your journey to learn French. Learning should be fun, and I will make sure that enjoy yourself as you improve your listening, writing, reading, and most importantly your speaking skills. Over the years I have developed many creative strategies to guarantee your progress. All students have different learning styles, different strengths and weaknesses, and different levels. One of my first jobs as your teacher is to provide you with an approach that will suit your learning style so that you will get the most out of your classes as possible.
